Hello one and all. I am attempting to start back on blogging after a few years. I thought i would start with writing my dining experience  at this restaurant called The Fat Chef in Whitefield, Bangalore.

Sid, Aviral and I went for dinner as the name sounded interesting and we wanted to try out a new restaurant for a change instead of visiting our usual places. 

Ambiance: warm because of the yellow lighting, vinyl records framed and put up on the walls along with other vinyl covers framed. This place is more like a boutique restaurant with excellent jazz/blues music playing in the background. A cozy romantic seating in the garden outside but reserved for couples only. 

Menu: good options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners. Available are soups/salads, starters, main courses and desserts of course. On a daily basis, there is a change in 'Today's Special' mentioned on a board at the entrance of the restaurant. Apart from the Indian and European cuisine for the main course, you have options of sandwiches, pizza and pasta. The desserts are displayed near the entrance where you need to and choose what you would like to have. What we had: Veg Mexican Balls, Fish Fingers, Veg Mousaka, Pesto Stuffed Tomatoes With Garlic Spaghetti, Veg Shashlik, Tiramisu, Chocolate Walnut Cake and a Choco Lava Cake. 

About The Food: each and every dish was exquisite and tickled the taste buds to its best. We could not complain on the taste of any of the items we ordered. The crockery used to serve the food was very well chosen in term of quality and design. We however need to say that the portions of the servings are a little small and priced as if the serving is huge. But then again, dining in a boutique like restaurant in Whitefield does come at a price.  

Staff & Service: Excellent!

Verdict: will definitely go back to this restaurant as there is a lot of items yet to be eaten even if it comes at a price. Recommend one and all to go here at some point of time. Following are the details of the restaurant:
